Recently...again

Morning, wait, is it afternoon? Apologies for being scarce on the posting front as of late, I've been KILLING my life with essays (A friend sent me this to 'help me power through', are you for real?!) and general stress thanks to an exam being moved forward two weeks (NICE ONE SALFORD) and my bodyclock is well and truly dying it appears (I say that but as I type this I have a hellish hangover with this on repeat and plan on doing the same tonight, er, my priorities need sorting.). Anywho, apart from that I bought some new Creepers (shout out to Student Finance) so sit tight, I'll have exciting articles and not just ramblings coming your way very soon! Also, see that shiny VICE badge over there > nice, isn't it? I'm part of the Vice blogging network now, so at least someone likes my writing and its nice to even just be recognised by such a prestigious and groundbreaking publication. Interview // Chloe Nørgaard

Bonjour! Are you all spring break-ed out yet? I certainly am! As you know from my last post, I took a trip to the Isle Of Man last weekend- although this resulted in me realising that I am a pathetic excuse for a girl who CANNOT walk in six inch heels (no matter how beautiful they are) upon taking a little tumble and landing myself with a black eye and a completely injured left-side of my face (to put it lightly). Seriously, people either think I'm winking and flirting at them or doing a Katrina Douvoure, not cool! Apart from that though, my weekend mainly consisted of Chinese food, Sex and The City boxsets' and waking up with a seaside view, bliss! Nevertheless, I interviewed the absolute babe that is Chloe Nørgaard (a professional model who could probs teach me a thing or two about female shoe choices...) so check it here!

I'm also going to be collaborating with a few other sites soon which is very exciting AND FreedomSpark are now selling limited edition tote bags with an image I took last summer on them, you can buy them here! X

Interview // Grace Miceli

Happy Easter break everyone! I've left Manchester and resided back home for the weekend- lets just say that I have never appreciated leaving the city until now, its so wonderful to have my own bed back, do nothing but watch How I Met Your Mother and have an actual meal made for me instead of living off super noodles and smash (YAWN). As I said in my last post, I went and caught Drake and OFWGKTA last weekend before shotgunning numerous Tyskies' (don't ask...) and eating the best Falafel ever at Common, review (on the latter artist not the falafel, obvz) will be up soon! Also, I interviewed feminist artist Grace Miceli this week about her work and interests- and LOOK GUYS, she even drew me! You can read all about us talking about Tavi and zines here, so take a peek! 

Apart from lazing about, I'm off to the Isle Of Man tomorrow morning to visit family and attend a christening which should be excellent AND an excuse to wear fabulous shoes, get drunk by the sea and catch-up with everyone is always a winner in my book. Regardless, I am going to dive headfirst into a hell hole of a thesis now with this on repeat (Pretty sure that one of the girls in the video attended my college, small world!) whilst eating my weight in potato salad. I hope the Easter Bunny brings you all ridiculous amounts of Chocolate! X

Interview // Lazy Oaf

Evening! I hope you've all been out getting fabulous tans this week in the lovely Sunshine- I've been cramming in park lunches and BBQ's whilst working my socks off for a deadline tomorrow! But, now that I'm all wrapped up thanks to a serious hibernation session, I have a chance to share the interview I did with Jerry of Fashion House, Lazy Oaf. You can read it here! I want basically 90% of their clothes and accessories (both male and female ranges, weird?) so it was great to get an insight into the workings of the company.

In other news, myself and my editor are off to see Drake (OMG YOU GUYS!) on Sunday thanks to the total babes at Island Records hooking us up AND I get to catch OFWGKTA for a second time on Saturday. Dear bank balance, I am sorry in advance. Have a nice weekend everybody! X

Interview // Summer Camp
